FP Hover Buttons

M

Michael

I added some FP hover buttons to my website's navigation
frame (cgbdswimming.org). Most of my users have no
problem seeing them (i.e., the Java applet loads fine).
I've posted and emailed instructions for enabling java
script (gathered from various sites) for those having
problems. So far, several users still can't see the
buttons after making the appropriate changes in their
browsers (they are using IE 5 and 6) - they just get grey
boxes on a yellow background (one got an illegal argument
error in the bottom status bar). Short of ditching the
hover buttons and going back to my homemade gifs, what can
I do to solve the problem??
Thanks,
Michael

Enabling javascript does nothing for java applets. Java is
not the same as javascript. If they do not have java then
they will either have to d/l it from sun or install from
an AOL cd. I would go back to the gifs and DHTML.

You would have to apply a theme, which can be modified, and then build your
navigation structure.

or

You can create two images for each button, import, then insert first button
on your page, then you can apply FP's DHTML effect for mousing over swapping
of the two button images. The image would be created in a image application
of your choice with the required text and save as GIF image.
