FP Install fail on 2000 Professional

Shery

I have Windows 2000 Professional and am the admin.
When I try to install my FP2000 I get the following
error....

"setup failed to identify a valid qualifying product on
your machine. Please select the drive where the qualifying
product can be found"

When I select the C drive I get the following....."eror
1608 cannot find any previously compliant products on tis
machine for installing this product.

What am I missing?

The CD from FrontPage 98 or the floppies from FrontPage 1.1. You have an
upgrade edition and it's looking for the previous qualifying software.

Swap CDs over to FP98 or insert the floppy #1 from FP 1.1. Point the
installer at it and it will confirm you do indeed qualify for the upgrade
product you are trying to install. Swap CDs back and the installation will
continue.
