FP is changing script when I publish? - can I turn feature off

I've added a login form to my Website (FP 2002). The login vendor sent this
email. Can someone let me know what I can do about this. This code is placed
on my homepage, index.asp (had to use .asp so the form would work).

I want to avoid FTP and keep doing everything from FP as usual. Thanks in
advance.

"Inside your original file, the login code was without any scripting, it was
altered by FrontPage. So FrontPage is really altering your scripting code.
You may wish to examine its help files to see how to turn that off."

Hi Steve, Thomas Rowe MVP, wrote me and I sent him the updated .asp pages.
He's going to investigate. If we can't figure out what's happening, I'll be
back to the forum.

The page that's out there now is all messed up and it wouldn't do any good
to look at it. The programmer with Sentrylogin cleaned up the code and
suggested that I FTP the new page instead of publishing through FPage. I
don't want to have to FTP and I'm hoping Thomas will let me know that it's OK
to publish with FPage.

Thanks for responding.

A quick note to say this problem is resolved.

I uploaded the new index.asp with the login form taking a chance that FP
would work. It did!

I think I know what was happening and why the Sentrylogin person thought FP
was doing something to the code.

We kept trying new login boxes (the login box is on a separate .asp page).
Every time he'd send me a new one, I deleted the old one and inserted the new
using Insert, File.

My selecting the form and hitting Delete was apparently leaving scraps of
the code there. Every time I did this, pieces of the previous boxes were
still left.

Code makes me dizzy so I might be completely off base, but I think that's
what was happening.

To take a look, it's http://www.WhichButtonToClick.com

Thanks to everyone for coming to the rescue.
