FP publishing ports: thru firewall(s)

Trying to publish thru a couple of firewalls, and I think
either the firewall or the proxy server is messing things
up.
Publisher gets a request for logon credentials, but there
is no recorded attempt on the sever security log.
Publisher gets an error that "The folder http://mysite.com
isn't accessible. The folder may be located in an
unavailable location, protected with a password, or the
filename contains a / or \. All the attempts that don't
cross a firewall log attempts in the security log, success
or failure.
When using http://mysite, what port number is FP using?
Assuming it's 80, and with FP2002 a UDP request?

Aaron,

I work behind an MS ISA firewall. We have the ISA firewall client installed
on all of our computers and I've found the only way I can publish is to
actually disable the firewall client. If you're using the same combination,
give this a try. Keep in mind that access to the client settings is usually
reserved for administrators only and, depending upon your privilege level,
you many need to contact your admins to test this.

I can't guaranteed this will work, though, since others who have ISA have to
make sure their firewall client is turned on.

Good luck!

I do not know for sure what the hardware firewall is, but
this in not a software firewall issue.
