FP Search Feature

Can pages or folders be excluded from the FP Search component? It is
including the menu in the search, and since the menu is on every page
and has links to almost every other page, there is much redundancy.
Also, since the menu is an included page, it gets indexed and is
presented in the results even though it was never intended to be viewed
directly.

Thanks for the help,
Harvey

If the web is hosted on an IIS server, the host can create a catalog in
Index Server and set up whatever restrictions are necessary. You'll need to
contact them.

If the menu is on most pages the menu contents will get indexed no matter what you do
(it is part of the html of each page even if it is a FP Include)
- you can only prevent the actual include page from being indexed by putting it in a _hidden folder
