I've been using FP since about 1999. I purchased FP 98, updated to 2000,
then to 2002. About a year ago I installed Office XP with FrontPage.
Everything has always been fine. I'm reloading my computer and tried to
install FrontPage again from the Office XP cd. It couldn't find a previous
version, so it stopped me. I can't find my FP 2000 cd, so I loaded FP 98,
then updated to 2002. Everything seems to have loaded fine. When I try to
start FP, I get the "Microsoft has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Sorry for the inconvenience" error. I'm wondering if somewhere along the
line a FP Product Key has been saved and I'm having issues with reloading.
My software is not a copy. I have the original boxes, cds and cd cases
showing Product Key codes. Any suggestions? I removed the software and
cleared out all the FrontPage entries I could fine in the Registery, then
reloaded, but got the same result. Thanks for any help. Chris
