FP2000 Background layout

Does FrontPage allow you to make frames around a page in
the background? I've seen people have this on their
sites and it is on the graphics I want to include, but
don't know how to make my own.

It kind of looks like they layered a different background
on top of each other, gradually getting smaller as you
get closer to the center. This gives a border/frame look
to the page - the best equivalent would be like a picture
frame with multiple mats around the picture.

I don't know if FP can do this or it is done in a
graphics program.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

This can be done with nested tables.

Thomas,

Thank you so much. I'm new at this - does it show?!
I've looked everywhere and could not find it. I will
certainly look up the topic as you suggested.

I have another question. Is there a way to add a custom
font for text? The graphics I have include a custom
font, but I cannot figure out how to add it in. I'm sure
there is an easier way than copy and paste each letter!

I appreciate your help. I'm sure these are so basic; I
feel kind of silly asking.

Thanks,
Denise

1. I don't think you will find very much info on creating nested tables.
Basically, a nested table is a table inserting into a cell of another table
and working with them is somewhat of a trial and error approach. See my site
below, it uses nested tables.

2. When developing for the web, your font choices are limited to what is the
most common font that user have installed, non-common fonts should be added
to your images directly within a graphic application, and then saved as a
GIF image, then imported into your current open FP web, then inserted onto
your pages.
