FP2000 error

I have Win2000 running FP2000. When I open a project its fine but when I
publish , even to the local disk I get the following error. Trying to
publish from my internet web site to a local disk ends similar. Reboot and
reinstalling FP didn't help.

The error
"an error occurred accessing your FrontPage web files..."

Can someone advise please?
