FP2000 forces FP98 extensions UPDATE ?

Hi,

If you have a FrontPage 98 built site and access it with FrontPage
2000, will it do any damage or force you to update the extensions.

Are you then able to open your FrontPage site with FrontPage 98 again
without errors?

The server is a Sun Cobalt with the FrontPage 2000 extensions.

I know these questions must sound dumb but, this is what we have been told
by a hosting webmaster and we now need the questions answered.
