FP2000 won't run

I keep getting "send error report" on startup of FP 2000 when it used to run
OK a few months back.. I'm running windows XPHE, Office 2000 Professional.

I've installed all updates, tried re-installing FP2000, repairing, etc.
Nothing works. When I reinstall FP 2000 I get the error message "Unable to
access configuration for Microsoft Personal Web Server." I've tried previous
advice to ignore/close the message, but FP2000 still won't run.

Any advice?

[Tom Pepper Willett]

Make sure you do a custom install of FP2000 so you do not attempt to install
a web server or FP server extensions. WinXP Home does not support a
Microsoft web server.
