How to Send Form Results
to a Database and
an E-mail Address and
Use the File Upload Component
Simultaneously
address: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/288328

The above written is a help sheet from Microsoft product support services

It instructs me to:

To create a File Upload folder in your Web, follow these steps:

1. Open your Web.

2. In the Folder list pane, right-click the top level folder, point to New,
and then click Folder on the menu that appears. Name the folder Files.

3. Right-click the new folder and then click Properties on the menu that
appears.

4. In the Properties dialog box, click to clear the Allow scripts to be run
check box.

5. Click to select the Allow anonymous upload to this directory and the
Allow uploaded files to overwrite existing filenames check boxes, and then
click OK.

Problem!!! When the properties dialog box appears the items that need to
change are embossed, the check boxes and text are there but I can not change
anything.
How can I remedy this thorn. Thanks JDW

You should be changing the permissions on your live (remote) web.
Make sure the check boxes "Allow programs to be run" and "Allow
scripts to be run" are both cleared.
If the other check boxes are still not available, your host does not
allow you to change permissions - you will need to talk to them.

1. You must be hosted on a Windows IIS web server.
2. You web host must allow you to use the upload component and may have to set the permissions.
