FP2002: Table redrawing

P

Pete

I have a problem with my FP2002 tables not redrawing when I scroll down or
up. This is very confusing as I can't tell where solid lines are located. Is
there some FP or Windows XP Pro setting that helps me refresh these more
quickly?

TIA

Pete,
I just visited your site and they all scroll fine.

There have been some posts about XP
and video ( display adapter ) driver issues
that will cause pages to "hang" when scrolled.

You might open your task manager and see what
your CPU usage is when scrolling the troublesome pages.
If it pegs at 100%, there's your clue.

You might then check and see if there are updated drivers
for your display adapter.

Thanks Steve, but I don't think I explained the problem properly. Yes, my
webpage is fine - it's the tables that get all screwed up in FP2002. Any
further advice?

OK, assuming this is happening
in design and preview mode in FrontPage.
Do this:
With a Web open click Tools >
Web Settings > Advanced and then
click Delete files under "Temporary files."
The shut down FrontPage and do a search for
*.web and delete all found
Then do the same for *.tmp

The Right click the IE icon, select Properties
and delete the Temporary Internet, Cookies and History files.

Reopen FrontPage and a web and see how it does.

Thanks again Steve. FYI I followed your advice and this, unfortunately, did
not help. Guess I'll have to put up with it.
