FP2003 cannot publish with http but FTP OK

I have upgraded from FP2000 with which I never had an issue publishing my
website using http. My webhosts server has FP extensions loaded, and they
have been reset for me numerous times. However when I use FP to upload using
HTTP (as I have web pages that use the server extensions) FP can never find
the server using the naming protocol, http://mydomain.net.nz/ There is no
problem uploading using FP's FTP or an FTP Client using the naming protocol
ftp://mydomain.net.nz

Anyone else had the same problem and know of a solution?? Any help most
welcome!

Always use the format
http://www.mydomain.net.nz/

If you have used FTP your site FP SE may be broken
- have your host run a repair of the FP SE
