FP2003 Hit Counters

I understand that if a server/isp supports FP extension, I can add a FP hit counter to my website... Having NOTworked with FP hit counters, but other hit counters, i.e., site meter, can I place a hit counter on each page of a website and count how many times someone has visited a particular page? For example with site meter, I give the hit counter a unique name and give site meter the url where the hit counter resides, then they send me weekly statics and tell me how many hits an individual page gets...

Like I said, I am new to FP hit counters and would like to have unique hit counters per unique page... Also, would I get a report of how many people visit a particular page

This all kinda new to me, so please bear with me on what might seem an obvious question...

Yes you can insert a hit counter on each page, and the count will be maintained
separately for each individual page.
The count is maintained in the individual pagename.htm.cnt files in the private
folder, one pagename for each page.
These can be opened and viewed using notepad.

However, if you have access to server logs and statistics you will find that the
information there is much more accurate.

Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 Inside Out comes with
sample ASP and ASP.NET pages that list the current value
of all the hit counters in a site. You can see these in
action at:
