FP2003: link bar font color won't change

Bart

Hi,

I'm getting myself familiar with FP2003, after having used FP2000 to create
a simple web with a theme earlier.

Now I would like to create a new website without using the existing themes.
I have a problem with making the top navigation bar appearing as I would
like.

I created a new one page web and added two pages underneath, using the
navigation view. On the index.htm page I added a top navigation bar (insert,
navigation, link bars, bar based on navigation structure). As a Bar Style I
chose one at the bottom of the list, that looks something like this:

[Xxxxx] [Xxxx] [Xxxx]

Once created, when I right click to change the font properties, and choose a
different color, only the brackets change color. The text itself stays on a
default blue.

How can I change the text color? Do I have to work with themes and customize
the properties there? I fiddled around with that but could not get it too
work.

Thanks for any clues you can give me.

The "text" are hyperlinks controlled by Page Options Background links colors (or your theme color scheme if you have one applied)

Stefan,

thank you very much for your very quick response! Right on the spot! Now I
can continue building the site. Probably more challenges ahead so I may pop
in later. :)

You can also use CSS.
