FP2003 views wrong files

OK -- I'm working on a client's website on my HD. I close the site and open
a test website to try out an idea. When I click View/Folders I get the
folder list from the client website! And vice versa. I have to browse to
the correct website to find the folder I need. This even happens if I just
start up FP. It opens in one website and retrieves the folders of another!

Why doesn't FP2003 show me the folder list of the website I'm working on?

You have to open the web you're working on. (File > Open > Site). That is,
close the client's site, and open the other web (the test site).

That's what I'm doing. I close "clientstuff" and open "test." The banner at
the top of the page says "TEST" and it retrieves folders from "CLIENTSTUFF"
!

Which 'banner' the one at the top of FP where it's showing you the path or
are you talking about a banner at the top of an actual webpage?

If you're talking about the very top bar of FP that shows you the path..and
it's showing ...something like http://localhost/TEST or C:\blahblah\My
Webs\TEST and you have the content of CLIENTSTUFF (and I mean all the files)
then you;ve somehow mucked up how you Published your client's web to your
hardrive.
