FP98 w/ Win XP

I just upgraded to Windows XP and now I'm having trouble
getting FP98 to work. I can't open my webs -- I get that
message you get when the Personal Web Server isn't
running, but now I can't find the PWS on the control
panel any more.

There is no PWS with WinXP. Win XP Home does not support a MS web server.
WinXP Pro uses IIS 5.1 as the web server.

FP 98 requires a web server to operate, so if you have WinXP Home, it
doesn't function.

Thanks for your very quick reply.

I've got Win XP Professional. Does that make a difference?

And what does this mean? Can the two work together or do
I need to upgrade FP or do something else?

Yes - but it uses IIS to run the FP SE
First uninstall PWS from Control Panel Add Remove Programs FP
Then in Control Panel Add Remove Programs - Windows Components install IIS
And Install the FP SE and apply them
