FQDN and DNS

If my public DNS is handled by my web host, how would one suggest I
configure my DNS settings (both public and private) so that when from
behind the firewall, the FQDN of say, webmail.domain.com points to the
internal IP of the SBS server, and when outside of the office, the FQDN
would direct to the public IP. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible unless you're running your own
internal DNS servers so that traffic is redirected to your internal
server. What many folks do in this case is always point to the outside
address since it's typically available in both networks (internal and
Internet). This may or may not be possible depending on how your email
is structured.

Hope this helps! bill
