Fractions

Hello!

I'm typing a document that has quite a few fractions.
When I type a fraction like 1/2, Word automatically
formats it with a smaller font. However, when I type 2/3,
it doesn't format.

Is there a way to turn off the auto-format of fractions,
or to make Word recognize 2/3 the same way it does 1/2?
I'd like it to be consistent one way or the other.

Thanks in advance.

Tools => AutoCorrect => AutoFormat as You Type

Uncheck the option for fractions.

Some fractions are built in, others are not. I believe Suzanne Barnhill
wrote a page on the MVP FAQ about this. Go there and search for fractions.
Possibly http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/CreateFraction.htm or
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/InsertSpecChars.htm. If you are brave,
you can also look into
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/periodic/period00/intellisense.htm.

Hope this helps,
