Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have to add feet and inches to feet and inches e.g. 2'-9"+3'-4"
I do not want to convert.
How do I configure a formula?

No matter how many times you ask the question the answer will not change :)
Excel doesn't recognize cell content such as 2'-9" as a value [nor does any
spreadsheet I've ever seen]. Consequently it cannot compute using data
stored in such a way because you're mixing two different units of
measurement.

I think I only paid $15.00 for it, so I will keep using it, thanks for no help!
