frame pages problem

Ftpg 2003
I am trying to create new pages using an existing page that someone else
created for me. Each page shows the tab as index page, although each page is
different. When I took an existing page, deleted the contents, inserted my
new info and saved as my new name crazy things happened. I believe they are
frame pages but I am not sure and cannot find info on working with existing
pages, only info on creating new pages.
Also can I not get these pages descriptions, keywords and their own titles
to help my word search engines?

What type of "crazy things" happened? Is there a URL where we can see
what's happening?

I am working on my home computer. The crazy things are the name I saved my
page under cannot be found. How does the frame link? It appears that there
are 2; left frame and main frame, but how does just those two frames link
into my many other pages. See www.yahuahseed.org I know that left frame is
the buttons on left and main frame is the content on right, but how do I make
a new page (main frame) and give it a name without everything being named
index.
I understand hyperlinks. I just do not understand how these frames are
linked together to work bringing up different pages, with different names and
all listed as index.

That is the way frames work
- the frameset (index.htm) is all that ever runs in the browser address bar
- the frameset loads it's pages in the specified frame window(s)

IMHO
For a simple site like yours do not use frame sets

PS
remove all spaces and punctuation (' in pastor's) from all file names or you will have broken links

Thank you for your advise. Is there a way to create a page with stationary
buttons on the left hand side and scrolling page on the left hand side
without using frames?
Someone else designed this site for our Pastor and now I am trying to edit
and upgrade. If we keep the site in frames do the search engines
crawl through the same as they would a nonframe page? I am trying to
increase our visitors.
