frames don't fit pictures

I am working on a large document with many pictures. On just a few of them,
the frame won't fit the picture. It seems always to be too far out on the
left side. When I try to move that side of the frame the whole photo moves.
Can someone tell me how to fix this? Thanks!

Nobody replied to my query about why 'New/Drawing' 'frames' just jump out of
the way when I try to paste pictures into them. So I'm still a bit vague as
to when is a 'frame/border/text box perimeter' not one or the other of
these, but...

Certainly in the case of the outlines of text boxes, there is an internal
margins setting which I often have to play with to get right to the edges.
You may find you have some such settings for your 'frames'.

If your pictures are in objects which have been grouped, you may have to
ungroup to move the elements individually.

If your pictures aren't in actual frames but just have a white left side,
they may just have been scanned and then not cropped to fit.

On the other hand, you may have copied these pics in from another document
which has a different margin setting and the style has got stuck like that.

I'm sure there will be many more possibilities...

If you continue to get no other suggestions here, try the xp.photos group.
