Hi I'm quite new to designing websites but I've been given the task of
designing one and I would appreciate any help you could give me. I'm trying
to design a website with a simple banner across the top, a menu bar (if that
is the right term), a side bar and main body. Similar layout to the page this
discussion group is on.
What I am wondering is, is there a way to not have to load the whole page
everytime someone clicks an item on the menu or side bar and instead just
load the relevant bit in the main body? Would have you to use frames to
achieve this? I tried using layers in FrontPage for each different sidebar or
different main body but it is proving to be quite complex to keep
hiding/making them visible.
