Frames question

I am trying to build a web site with frames, using FP 2000. The
site works very well in my browser....unless I have recently
visited the BBC News website http://news.bbc.co.uk/ in the same
browser window. If I have visited the BBC site, then return to
the site I'm building, my table of contents frame is messed up.
It won't work right unitl I close my browser and re-open it.

If I open a new, separate browser window then open my site
everything works as it should. If I open the BBC News site in
this browser window then go back to my site the frames problem
shows up again.

Evidentally the BBC News site leaves something alive and kicking
on my browser that interferes with my web site's table of
contents frame, but I can not figure out what it is. Any ideas,
anyone?

I've tried this on three different computers and get the same
results, so I am reasonably sure it is not a fluke with my
computer.

You should never be opening a 3rd party site in your frames
- set the link to open in a new window (target="_blank")
Just as you don't want your site framed many sites also do not want their site framed (and prevent it)

I guess I didn't state the situation very clearly. What is
happening is, I use my browser in the ordinary way to visit the
BBC News site, then close that out and open my web site that I
have under construction. My web site's table of contents shows up
in its proper frame when I first open my site, but if I click on
a link in the table of contents and go to the indicated page, the
table of contents frame dissappears.

I am not opening the BBC News site within my web site's frame. I
am simply using the same browser instance to first view the BBC
site, then, after closing the BBC site, open my site.

If I shut my browser down and re-start it, my site will work as
it should...until I open the BBC site again, then my site's table
of contents frame gets mesed up, again.

I have the BBC News site listed in my Favorites list in my
browser. I also have my web site that is under construction and
located on my hard drive, listed in my favorits list. If I click
on my web site's button, the BBC site is closed and my site is
opened, just as with any other site in my Favorites list.
