frames useage

i have stumbled across the use of frame. it is different than the
frames-collection, and seems to create a seperate document for each
frame-area.
what i need to know is this:
i can insert a link-field which will load a particular frame with an entire
word-document.
is there a way i can duplicate that effect with vba-word so i can click a
button and set a link-field and thus load a frame with a document whenever i
want??
