Framework Library

Whenever I load an Office application, I get a message stating that
"An unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft
Framework Library". I can still run the application, so it's a minor
inconvenience.

Any suggestions?

This is usually a result of improper permissions settings. Repair disk
permissions using the Disk Utility application. More detailed

Thanks for your response. I tried repairing disk permissions, as well
as trashing the Carbon Registration Database. No effect.

An additional piece of information: only 1 user has this problem.
Other users do not. Does that help in troubleshooting?

Then it has to be in the preferences for this user. I would also try
trashing the Office settings (10) file since it also has a nasty
tendency to become corrupted...
BTW: This user folder wouldn't be re-located outside the boot volume by
any chance ???
