frameworks library error (right before my m.a. exam!)

Dear all,
My Microsoft Word program started freezing up on me during my M.A.
written exam this week. I had my computer checked out and apparently
the hardware looks fine. I was told to uninstall and then reinstall my
Microsoft Office 2004. I put the CD in, and I was never asked to
unistall/remove the existing Office 2004, so I just installed it. I
finished that process, then agreed to remove older versions of the
program when asked. I restarted my computer. Now, when I open Word, I
get a pop-up message saying that there has been an unepexted error with
my frameworks library. I don't know what that is, or if it may cause a
problem. As I'm about to take the next portion of my M.A. exam, I feel
very concerned about whether or not I may have a problem during the
exam.
I can't seem to figure out a number to call Microsoft for Office 2004
support, so I thought I'd just ask if any of you happen to know what
might be causing the problem...
I would really appreciate any advice!!!
