Freaking out I deleted/lost my received messages!! please helppppp

I have Microsoft Outlook. I have a setting delete items in deleted folder
upon exiting. But wait I havent exited nothing....come baaaaack )

I deleted some on my inbox messages some read some unread. I clicked on
deleted items, selected ALL the mail there and right clicked and said move to
folder, meaning to bring it back there. Up came a message and said it might
take a long time for 57 items, ok. So I click ok. Then a new mail message
opened with all the deleted items attached like "foward as attachment" icons.

I clicked out of the message (I didnt want to send it just move it) when I
clicked back into Deleted folder, everyhting was goooooooooone....ooooo

I am going to freak. I still havent closed my outlook, cause I am scared I
will really delete it. I know it must be somewhere.....

Please please get back to me asap....?

Search all folders for something deleted you know.
If they don't show up you will need to recover from a backup. Vista Shadow
copy and "previous versions" can come in handy here.

If BillR's suggestion doesn't work and you don't have a backup, you may be
able to recover some of it with this:
