Hi all,
One of the users in my office is having an issue when he
sends a meeting request. He sends the request from his
calendar, inviting several people with no problems.
However, about 10 minutes after he sends the message, he
gets an error that states "Unable to Update Free/Busy
data. Operation failed." We do use public folders to book
meeting rooms only but in his case, the error message
comes up whether he booked a room or not. We are using
Office XP and he has a Windows XP machine. I had him
uninstall and reinstall Office XP and I had him run Office
Service Packs 1-3 (which I have read Service Pack 3
corrects this issue). Still the error shows up. I'm not
sure if this matters, but we a running Exchange 2000 on
two servers. He is on one and I am the other server. When
he sends me a test email, the meeting appears on my
calendar and I am able to accept/decline with no problem
and he can see everything fine as well. It's just the
error that comes up.
Any help with this would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Lauren
