Free/Busy on Recurring Appointments

We upgraded from Outlook 98 to Outlook XP. We are
running Exchange 2000 SP3. We have recurring
appointments that were created in Outlook 98. If you
open up the series of one of these recurring appointments
with Outlook XP, the attendees' free/busy information is
displaying hash marks. If you open up just an occurrence
with Outlook XP, the attendees' free/busy information
displays properly. If you create a brand new recurring
appointment with Outlook XP you are able to view the
free/busy information properly when you open up the
series. Is there a way of displaying or correcting the
free/busy information on these old, recurring
appointments?
