Any suggestions are most appreciated...
I am a consultant working at a client's office. I am not a member of the
client's Exchange system, but my own company has an Exchange server that I
can access remotely.
I am trying to use Free/Busy to be able to make it easier to schedule
appointments, etc...
When I use Outlook 2002 SP2 with the Free/Busy setting set, and I'm NOT
connected to my exchange mailbox, my Free/Busy information is published
successfully. (I can see it through the Free/Busy web site)
But when I connect to my company's Exchange server using my mailbox, and try
to publish the Free/Busy information (Tools, Send/Receive, Free/Busy
Information), the Free/Busy web site shows my calendar as all Unknown. (I
still get the message box saying "Free/Busy Information Sent")
I have two different Mail Profiles (One uses Exchange Mailbox, and the other
is set up to use POP.) Using the POP profile lets me publish free/busy
successfully, using the Exchange profile does not. Both profiles have
calendar folders in them. And both sets of calendar folders have
appointments in them.
I've tried copying my calendar information from the Exchange Calendar folder
to my local (PST) calendar folder. No luck. I still can't publish when I
use the Exchange profile.
I tried setting my permissions on the Exchange Calendar folder. No luck. I
still can't publish when I use the Exchange profile.
It doesn't seem to be isolated to me, though - the customer's employees'
Free/Busy information also shows up as all Unknown.
Is there a setting I'm missing?
Any help would be warmly welcomed!
Thanks.
