Freely rotating an object ...

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

In all the previous PowerPoints I have used over the past 15 years, one could freely rotate an object.

In this version, I cannot locate the 'Rotate' Tool to do so.

All that I see is the selection of 'Right/Left', Flip/Horizontal/Vertical. These do not serve my purpose when wanting to 'angle' an object for effect purposes. I found the Rotate Tool an asset when it comes to presentations that one wants to use an object such as an arrow to emphasize a point, etc.

Hope it's a matter that I cannot find the tool.

Thanks!

Use the Free Rotation (green) handle that extends from the top Sizing handle
& drag CW/CCW. Hold the Shift key while dragging to constrain to 15°
increments.

For more precise rotation Control/Right-Click the object, select Format
Object & in the Size settings enter the # of degrees.
