Freeze Pane missing Excel 2003

The pull down menu "Window" does not contain the "freeze pane" or "split"
options. There is no drop down button which is hiding unused icons. Just no
freeze pane option. Can't find anything on web or at Microsoft website.

Hello KenC,

I'm not sure how it has happened but I can suggest a couple of work arounds:

1. You could try resetting your menu bar. Tools + Customise + Toolbar tab.
Choose Manu Bar and click Reset. However if you have made any other changes
to the menu bar you will lose them. So...

2. You can add the Freeze Panes and Split commands yourself. Tools +
Customise + Commands tab. Choose Windows and Help from the left and scroll
down the right until you see Freeze Panes. Clcik and drag this on to your
Window menu until it drops down and then place the command whereever you want
it. Do the same with Split.
