Freeze panes in excel 2002

When freezing panes in excel 2002 the panes on columns and
rows do not lock together. If scrolling up/down, the upper
panes are locked, if scrolling left/right the left frames
are locked. Appears to be a departure from previous
versions where all frozen panes were locked and remaining
scrolled normally. Is this new and is there a work around?

What you describe is the same as Excel 2000. So it's not new with 2002.

This also happens in Office 2003. I would guess that it's
just how it is.

Hi Matt,

It's always worked this way. Are you sure you aren't using Split
instead of Freeze panes?
