Freezing Autoformating tables

S

Steve

Greetings:
I have finished creating a simple auto-formatting table
comprised of several empty columns and rows. I want to
save this table as a template so that I can fill the table
with data each month and email it to whomever I choose.
So, how do I freeze the table at its present size so that
I can retrieve it monthly, fill in data, and email it? As
things stand now, the table is still in auto-formatting
mode, so it enlarges to accommodate data I type in. It
seems as though there should be a category in the save
menu which allows for a "freezing save," if you will, but
I cannot find it.

Thank you very much indeed,
Steve

Hi Steve

Try this. Click within the table. Table > Properties. On the Table tab, click Options. Un-tick "Automatically re-size to fit
contents".

Hope this helps.

And set the rows to an exact height if that's appropriate.
