freezing current record in form view

Is there a way on a form to prevent the user from moving
to the next record unless they hit the next record
selector. Sometime the form goes to the next record at
strange times.

Go to Tools|Options, Keyboard tab. Check the box that says "Cursor stops at First/Last
field".
