French-language spam getting through

P

Paddy Scot

Can I configure Outlook's spam filters to send French-language spam into the
junk mail box? If so, how?
Otherwise, does anyone know of an effective anti-spam programme that will do
this, and preferably have a free trial feature?

For a fully featured anti-spam program, I use SpamBayes, available from SourceForce.net - free and open source.

For the foreign language spam, try this:

Version of outlook?

I use a rule that looks for words in the header (a character set) and
delete - not sure if this will work for French it works good for Chinese
Arabic and Russian. You could also look for characters in the subject or
body - pick one and paste it into the rule.
