French Spell Check Appears Misteriously

Hello,

I was editing a word document, I did a spell check and the French Spell
check appears and I don't know how to turn it off and go back to English.

I check some of my other word files and they are showing the English
Spellcheck but not this one file. I cut and pasted the information into a
new file and the same thing happened again.

Have you disabled "Detect language automatically" in Tools | Language | Set
Language? Autodetection doesn't work very well, so it's best turned off.
Then select your entire document and apply the correct language.
