French spell checker for PowerPoint

oI installed the language pack. Took a while! Still does NOT work for
Powerpoint. WOrks for word, that's it? I read the (usless) help, tried all
I could (properties language edit etc). I even deleted the English dico
option but it still suggests English spelling and the French is still
underlined in red! Can't believe it. Wasted hours on this. What is this
joke? Any other besides me???

XP Sp3 plain vanila, Powerpoint 2007 office with all updates. French pack
just downloaded from MS. Existing presentation. Furthermore, putting the
accents in French is laughable under Powerpoint! Of course it could not work
like word, it would be too easy. You need the ASCII code AND the nuneric
keypad. Is this a joke??? These guys talk between office components???

If thge text was originally set to a different language changing the default
is not enough.

IF the text is all in placeholders try going to outline view. select all the
text and change the language
