I just reinstall (Erase Disk) 10.3.7. I purchased Office 2004 upgrade.
Instalation went fine, but at launch it asked for a previos office folder, I
had put the "Microsoft User Data" back in place put it didnt see it, so I
am left with having to install office 2001 and upgrade it, Is there any
other way to do this? Thanks for any help.

Try putting the Office 2001 CD in the CD drive and pointing the upgrade
installer to it.

The Microsoft User Data folder does not qualify, it's usually the folder in
Applications that the upgrade installer looks for to verify. But having the
CD in the drive ought to work.
