I've used Outlook for years, but I never erased the
previous years and started over from today. Is there a
way to begin a new calendar today and not erase or loose
Contact information or other Outlook features?

In the Calendar folder, change your view to a table view. Something like by
Category works well. Then select one of the entries in the Calendar. Click
Ctrl+A to select all entries in the calendar. Hit delete. This will delete
everything in your calendar.
