From 2007 to XP

I am running Outlook 2007 and I created a new data file using the
97-2002 format. I then imported the 2007 pst formated personal file
folders into the new data file. I dragged the subfolders under the
Inbox and was warned that I would loose the unicode formatting. I
assume ANSI formatting would be used. I am able to open the database
in XP and I receive the inbox messages, but I cannot get any of the
subfolders under the inbox to appear. How do I fix?
