From Onenote 2007, can't create outlook 07 items

I'm a newbie to Onenote in general. I have Office 2007 and all items
that refer to outlook from Onenote (create appointment, task toolbar,
etc.) are grayed out, as if the program can't recognize outlook 2007
is working.

Thoughts? thank you -

Did you try repairing Office 2007?

Just tried thanks. I can get items from Office 2007 into OneNote no
problem, I can link an appointment for example well. It's just getting
tasks or appointments from OneNote into Outlook, the menu items are
greyed out..
