from unbound text box to field

In my form called Registers, I have a calculated text box
(called key_code) that combines multiple fields. I need
to be able to take that information and store it into a
field. Any ideas?

Why? As long as you have the bits stored elsewhere, there shouldn't be any
need to store them all joined up. You can combine them anytime in a form,
query or report.
