My email hyperlinks use to open a new email message in my default email,
Outlook Express. Now these links to not work and the message says Unable to
open Outlook.

The links should open whatever the person's default email client is.

However, have you checked your OE options to make it the default email
client?

Have you any other email programs on the system? Did you at any time
use Outlook (rather than Outlook Express)?


Do you mean "Unable to open *Outlook* " or "Unable to open *Outlook
Express* " ?

I don't know why, if you don't have Outlook on your system, that the
system thinks Outlook is your default email program.

I use Outlook Express and of course Outlook comes with Office but I don't use
it. The message is "unable to open Outlook."

Jeeze, I would have bet money OE was my default. I decided to check on it,
AND IT WAS NOT. Everything good now. Thanks
