Front Page 2003 link bar navigation error

I am trying to design a website that uses link bars fro navigation.
Generically the links are: home, about us, services, and contact us. If I am
on the home page and click on any of the links besides home the navigation
works. If I am on home and click on home the site will go to some older
version of the website that is no longer active. The same thing happens with
about us, services, and contact us. Any suggestions on what I should fix?

Make sure your home page file name is the same as that required by your hosting service
- sounds like yours is not
