Front page could not parse problem..not server related

I am having a problem with front page 2000. I get the "front page could not
parse.." message when I try to publish. Its not the server end, as I've
tried now two different hosts, uninstalled and reinstalled front page server
extensions multiple times etc.

I have also uninstalled, and reinstalled Front page three times on my PC so
that doesn't fix it either. I've tried to create a new web and upload it,
thinking something within the web could be corrupted, that didn't work
either. Please help!

Have you checked to see if there is a firewall running? You might try
disabling that temporarily to see if that could be the issue. Also, check to
see if your ISP has a proxy server that may need special settings. A proxy
server basically sits between you and the internet and blocks certain types
of traffic. Sometimes it screws up the communication between the fp client
and the server, especially when the server tries to send an authentication
request.

PS
1) Also find and delete any Thumbs.db files in your site before publishing
2) Some hosts will not allow any media files over 1 MB in size

Tried shutting off all the firewalls, and no thumb.db files are found.
Anything else?
