Front Page & Direcway Satellite

I just had the Direcway DW6000 Satellite Internet
installed, and so far, so good - however, I get the "The
server sent a response which FP could not parse"
(paraphrasing) when I try to publish with FP2K. I know
it's not a server issue. I'm running XP Home, if that has
any relevance.

I've read in various forums that this is a known issue
with DW systems, but that people have been able to make it
work with various combinations of DNS settings, proxy
exceptions, etc - none of which I have been able to make
work.

I tried adding my domain name, my domain name's IP and
Hughes' DNS IP to my list of proxy exceptions in IE6. No
dice. I also unchecked the whole "use a proxy" thing.
Still no joy.

I removed my Linksys Wireless (B) router, turned off
Norton Firewall - just to eliminate as many variables as
possible. No luck there, either.

Tried publishing using my domain IP, FTP, and with and
without the WWW prefix. Nothing.

Being new to satellite, I'm kinda dumb to the nuances, and
there's just not much DW info out there. So, I need help!
Anyone have any other suggestions? I contacted DW, but
there response was "I don't think you can do that; you'll
have to get a static IP". Well, that's quite a bit more
cash - and I'm not convinced that would solve the problem
in the first place.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Search the newsgroup for DW6000 on 2/3/2004 where someone posted that the
DW6000 is not compatible with publishing via FP and that you should contact
Direcway and switch back to Direcway DW4000 or something like that.
