Front Page/Dreamweaver etc

C

Carol Macherey

I hope this is the right forum and someone can answer this question. My
apologies if I should be elsewhere.

I've created 2 fairly elaborate websites with Front Page. Now I've upgraded
my computer and have Vista Ultimate. Amazingly, I just discovered FP was
discontinued in 2006.

If I switch to Dreamweaver, can Dreamweaver pick up where I am on my FP web
sites? What are the transition issues?

Thanks for any advice.

Just because FP was discontinued, doesn't mean you can't use it. It will
work for you as long as you want to use it.

I plan on using FP 2003 for quite some time, as do many others.
Many others still use prior version of 2003 just fine, because it suits
them.

Also:
Currently, mainstream support will not be retired until 1-13-2009. Extended
support will not be retired until 1-14-2014.
