Hi,
I am working on a web site that involve with database accessing. I used
front page 2002 to create the whole site and use it to validate all the
hyperlinks on the site. Some of the hyperlink however need to provide a user
name and password beforeit can access to the html file.
The problem i have with fp is that when it try to validate the links that
need to be authorize before user to access the file, it always will report as
a broken links. But in fact these links are valid as i copy the url to the
browser, it would return me the page that i am looking for as long as i can
provide it with my username and password.
I'd like to know if front pge has the ability to validate external
hyperlinks that involve database accessing? If not, is there an alternative
ways that i can use to validate this kind of links? Thanks.
